Reno Rebuild Project awards Gravallese Cowith a $20,000 small business loan.

In their continued effort to amplify the presence of small, local downtown businesses, Reno Rebuild Project has awarded a $20,000 loan to Gravallese Co. Owner Vinnie Gravallese will use the funds to expand and develop his company’s line of all-natural, barber-built hair care products.

Gravallese products are inspired by tradition and obsessively made by barbers for both themselves and those in the chairs before them.

“Since I can remember, my dream has been to have my own barbershop and hair care line,” Gravallese said. “Today I can say that I’m living my dream. My life has been spent in barber shops and salons. My wife, my mom, and I all work in the industry. It has been a privilege to work this hard to make things I am truly proud of and proud to put my name on. I’m eager to use the funds and appreciate the confidence from Reno Rebuild to continue in our pursuits.”

Every time a guest enjoys a drink or meal at the Sierra Tap House, Ole Bridge Pub, and the Brewer’s Cabinet, a portion per item sold goes into the Reno Rebuild Project Fund.  Once a year, Michael Connolly, Chris Kahl, and Zachary Cage, the fund holders and owners of the aforementioned establishments, select one compelling idea from a Reno-based individual to receive a small business loan to make his or her dream a reality.

“We are committed to continuing to see small businesses thrive in Reno and appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit and candor presented by those who inquired about the loan,” Kahl said. “Helping fellow business owners will continue to boost our city and we look forward to the possibility of an incredible outreach.”

The Reno Rebuild Project loan is a low-interest loan with all principal and interest returning to the fund to help it grow, so more ideas get funded each year. All the money raised remains in northern Nevada, supporting the local economy and helping to rebuild our community — one small business at a time!

To support the Reno Rebuild project, purchase a beer or a meal from Sierra Tap House, Ole Bridge Pub, and the Brewer’s Cabinet. A portion per item is donated to the Reno Rebuild Project.
